Accessibility
Here at Old Rectory House we have done the utmost to ensure our facilities are accessible to as wide a range of guests as possible. We offer plenty of free, off-street parking. It's a 300-700 meter walk to our shepherd huts across undulating ground but we have created a stepping stone path the whole way to make it easier to navigate. Our treatment rooms and studio are all at ground level, adjacent to the parking area so are easily accessible. Our pool pool area is just a short walk from the car park, up a slope so we have built a gravel path to make it more secure underfoot and easier to access. The woodland sanctuary also has a stepping stone path leading to it and we have also build a paved pathway through the woods to the sauna with 3 steps up to the deck.
Being a neurodiverse family ourselves, we fully understand the importance of a calm and tranquil space. Everything we have created here at Old Rectory House has been done with peace and quiet in mind. We are a small business and there will only ever be 6 shepherd hut guests and/or 6 spa guests here at any one time so the site will never feel crowded or busy. We remind all our guests of our wish for a peaceful site and operate a quiet space policy. Any neurodiverse guests will feel very comfortable on our site.
